About Our Company

Ascend Windows & Doors began as a small local glass company serving the Flathead Valley starting in 1954. Known originally as Aluminum Products and later as Aluma Glass – our roots were built on dependable service, craftsmanship, and genuine relationships with our community.
In 2014, Curtis Bartel became the owner, bringing renewed vision, strong leadership, and a commitment to elevating both the customer experience, business transformation and capabilities of our team.
Over the years, our reputation grew because of each person who poured their heart into the work and dedication which shaped the integrity and trust our company is [built on to this day.] known for today.
As the needs of the Flathead Valley evolved, so did we. What began as a small glass shop has grown into a thriving, highly specialized business focused on premium windows and doors—the elements that define the beauty, design, function, and comfort of every home. With this evolution came a new identity:

Ascend Windows & Doors

The name reflects our real mission: to continually rise in quality, service, and craftsmanship while offering products that elevate the lives of our community.

What We Stand For

Relationships First

Our success has always been built on trust—earning the confidence of homeowners, contractors, and partners through genuineness, reliability, and follow‑through. We believe great work is only possible when prioritizing each other first – recognizing other’s needs, and the change we can make in offering a service that make people feel truly taken care of.

Leadership With Purpose

We invest deeply in our team— the importance of team culture, developing skill, character, and lasting values. Leadership here means growing in improvement, communication, supporting each other, and believing in the greater potential within our people and our business.

Craftsmanship You Can Count On

Windows and doors are more than materials—they shape how people live, experience views, comfort and a better environment. We are proud to be a part of our valley’s history as well as the future in developing Montana’s architecture and homes. We are dedicated to bringing precision, care, and excellence to every project.

Refining What Matters

Through our craft and expertise, we continually refine our company, our process (environment), and ourselves—
honoring the work, the people, and the trust placed in us.

"To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought
or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity."
